3. Hair Loss
How can Pharmacy help men with hair loss?
Hair loss comes in different forms and has a number of causes which are usually harmless. It is often a common part of ageing.
Male Pattern Baldness is the most common form of hair loss and affects about half of all British men before they turn 50 years old. It often follows a particular pattern of hair loss, which begins with a receding hairline, followed by hair loss around the temples, then the crown.
If you think you have male pattern baldness, our range of solutions may be able to provide you with treatment to stop further hair loss. If you think you’re experiencing any other form of hair loss please speak to your GP.
Treatment for male pattern baldness is aimed at prevention of further hair loss rather than a cure. The sooner we can help you control it, the more likely you are to keep the hair you have and you could benefit from new hair growth with some medicines.
